Jethro

Played by Josh Finan

Jethro is an accountant within the Dixon crime family who accompanies Tommy Dixon on cash-collection business.

Biography

Jethro handles numbers for the Dixon crime family and accompanies Tommy when cash needs counting. He is a subordinate inside the criminal operation, not its leader. That work brings him to Halstead when Tommy arrives to collect Freddy’s debt.[1][2][3]

The Gentlemen

Season 1

Reveal Season 1 story spoilers

Jethro sees enough of Tommy’s death to become a dangerous witness. Eddie catches him after he flees into the woods and tries to arrange a non-fatal escape, obtaining his passport and constructing a story that blames him for Tommy’s murder. Later, Susie confirms to Eddie that Jethro has been killed, undermining Eddie’s belief that he can keep the arrangement bloodless.[1][2][3]

Personality

Reveal story spoilers

Jethro’s response is survival-oriented: he runs, promises silence and calls the Dixon organization dangerous. His skill with cash does not give him control over the people who decide his fate. No clinical diagnosis is required to explain those actions.[1][2][3]

Notes

Radio Times confirms Josh Finan’s role and the counting work. An OCD label appears in editable cast data, but this profile does not infer or diagnose it from his behaviour.[1][2][3]
