Red Ned

A worker whose demands for basic protections become a dangerous confrontation with the Glass operation.

Biography

Ned works at one of the cannabis farms. He speaks for workers angered by the treatment of a colleague after an adverse clinical-trial reaction.[1][2][3]

The Gentlemen

Season 1

Reveal Season 1 story spoilers

The published TVmaze appearance record lists Red Ned in Episode 2x03, all in Season 2, and records no Season 1 credit. This is the scope of that retrieved credit record; no unseen Season 1 activities or earlier-life events are invented here.[5]

Season 2

Reveal Season 2 story spoilers

Ned presents demands for higher pay, breaks, holiday, and sick leave during a coordinated slowdown. Eddie and Susie respond with a smaller final offer and the threat of dismissal. Blanket then holds Ned at gunpoint while they demand that he never discuss the operation. Ned later helps steal cannabis, including experimental stock, and delivers it to Victor. Victor tries to use the theft to bargain for a role in the Glass business, but first kills Ned. The labor dispute thus becomes a theft and an attempted criminal incursion rather than a successful negotiation.[1][2][3]

Personality

Reveal story spoilers

Ned’s initial behavior is organized and collective: he identifies a workplace grievance and speaks for other workers. His later theft follows humiliation and a threat to his life, but does not erase his agency or make the plan safe. Describing him as resentful after the confrontation is an action-based interpretation, not a claim that the original grievance was fabricated.[1][2][3]

Notes

The episode account uses Ned; the credit listing adds Red. His colleague Randall is mentioned as part of the grievance, but no actor pairing or separate on-screen biography was verified.[1][2][3]
